Microcontroller hardware
Schematic and PCB design for low-power, battery-driven and energy-harvesting devices. Component selection focused on longevity, supply, and field reliability.
I help teams take low-power electronics and renewable-energy ideas from a sketch to a working device — circuit, code, enclosure, and the software around it.

Bare-metal and RTOS firmware for sensing, communication, and power management. Written to be readable, testable, and easy to hand over.
3D-designed housings — printed or machined — engineered alongside the electronics so the device fits its environment, not the other way around.
Web and dashboard applications built alongside AI tooling to validate a use case quickly or run a small prototype batch in the field.
Fixtures and software to test devices on a production line — calibration, traceability, and pass/fail flows that scale beyond the bench.
Eight years of moving renewable-energy concepts through pilot, certification considerations, and into manufacturable products.
We talk through the problem, the constraints, and what success looks like — long before any component is chosen.
A quick architecture: what runs where, what the power budget is, what the enclosure needs to survive.
Hardware, firmware, housing, and supporting software developed in tight iterations against a working device.
Documented, testable, and ready for the next stage — whether that's certification, a pilot, or a production run.
For the past eight years I have worked in renewable energy — designing the devices that measure, control, and connect it, and helping teams move those devices from a first prototype to something that can actually be manufactured.
I work as a one-person studio, which means the same person draws the schematic, writes the firmware, models the enclosure, and builds the dashboard around it. Fewer hand-offs, fewer misunderstandings, and a device that feels considered from end to end.
I take on a small number of engagements at a time. Tell me a little about what you're working on and we'll see if it's a fit.
